ADDITION TO BYE
LAWS OF DHANBAD CLUB LTD.
Approved by the
working committee 2007-08 in board meeting dt.11.04.08
In addition to adoption of bye laws of Dhanbad club ltd. Made by the
working committee in 1999.
Community
hall and Guest house
-
Community hall and
guest house can be booked for personal or commercial use by
members or any other individual or association or club.
- The application
for booking of community hall and guest house has to be given in
writing in prescribed format in club office with advance payment
25 % and the balance to be paid before the date of event.
- All applications
should have reference of at least one member to ensure the
agreement of the person booking it.
- In case of
cancellation of booking made for community hall and guest house
rooms or guest house in total, the cancellation charges shall be
10% if cancelled within 30 days of event date, and 25% if
cancelled within 7 days of event date. No cancellation charges
will be levied otherwise.
- All the guests
at the guest house have to enter their names and fill other
details including time of entry and exit in the check in register
provided with the guest house attendant.
- Parking will not
be provided inside club premises.
- Any loss to
property or any collateral or in any other form in the guest
house, community hall, outdoor lawn area on the date of event has
to be paid by the person who had made the booking or the member
authorizing it.
- The extent of
penalty or loss will be assessed and decided by the management of
Dhanbad club ltd.
- Outside catering
is permitted in community hall and not in guest house or its
rooms.

Club
Banquet
-
The club banquet
hall will be made available for members, association or clubs for
their meetings, conferences and for private parties up to 80
persons.
- The booking has
to be made in advance in a prescribed format in club office.
- Non members can
book the banquet hall only if the booking is approved by at least
two members of Dhanbad club ltd.
- Any gathering or
party in the banquet hall is not allowed to use outdoor food or
beverage.
- On prior
intimation the club will provide food and beverage from club
kitchen and bar as per the menu provided for that purpose.
Separate menu card will be available for commercial gathering.
- Audio
system/video system or projector will not be provided from club.
Integrated speakers in ceiling may be used for public addressing
or soft music. No loud music or box type speakers will be allowed.
- All gatherings
in the banquet are expected to stay within the booked banquet hall
and not expected to disturb the privacy of permanent members
sitting in the verandah, parapet, and lounge or at any other
location in club.
- The person
booking the banquet shall be responsible any misbehavior, dress
code, act or loudness by the guests amounting to misconduct as per
the bye laws and for any loss in any form to club and its
collateral.
- No decoration of
any type will be permitted in the hall. Marriage functions or
ritual ceremonies will not be permitted in the banquet hall. Only
cake cutting for birthday parties or celebrations can be done.
- Guests coming
for banquet parties will not be allowed to use any other services
of club.

No booking will be done on Saturday
or club programs day.

Lounge, Restaurant and Bar
-
These places shall
be available for members and their guests on all working days
except on program days or specified otherwise or excise closures
for bar.
- Services and
seating will be provided at these places on first come first serve
basis.
- Aayas, servants
and attendants are strictly not allowed.
- No booking or
parties are permitted in these areas.
- Members are
expected to observe decent dress code and talk softly in these
areas so as not to disturb other members.
- Decoration of
any type or form is not permitted in the lounge, bar and
restaurant.
- Any loss in any
form to club shall be borne by the member concerned and the extent
of it will be decided by the management.
- In case of any
problems in service or management, members are requested to give
their complaints in writing in a register provided in club office
for that purpose and not to get directly involved with the serving
staff.

Restaurant and kitchen will serve
food as per menu only and no work on labour charge basis will be
done.
Ozone Health Club
-
Entry to health club
will be provided to its members only against identity card.
- All members will
be provided a time slot and will be allowed to use the health club
only for one hour in a day.
- One locker will
be provided to one gold card member ( no separate lockers for
spouses and dependents)
- The management
will not be responsible for any valuable kept in the lockers.
- No guests will
be allowed in the health club.
- Ladies timings,
Gents timings and Common timings will be same as of swimming pool.
- The health club
will be at service to its members on all working days of club.
- Toilets and
washrooms will be used from the swimming pool area.
- Eatables will
not be allowed inside the health club, refreshments can be had in
the lawn arena or club premises.
- No drinks will
be served inside the health club.
- Members are
expected to maintain silence and decorum inside the health club
and not to disturb other members.
- Any loss to
equipments or any collateral of health club will be borne by
concerning member. The extent of loss will be assessed by the
working committee.
- Any member
having health problems are expected to consult their doctors
before exercising or doing work outs. The management will not be
responsible for any health hazards.
- Members are
expected to workout only under supervision of trainer / care
taker.
- Dress code for
health club will be as follows :
For men
: track suits or shorts with t shirts.
For women : track suits or salwar kurtas.
Chappals and slippers not allowed
in the health club.
General rules to be observed.

Notices when
displayed on notice boards are deemed to be of information to one
and all. Separate circulars for each notice or program will not be
sent. Members are expected to keep track of notice boards and
confirm programs on Saturdays from club office.
- Aayas and
servants are not allowed beyond the kid’s corner.
- Pets are not
allowed in club premises.
- Parking will be
provided to members on all days on first come first serve basis.

Restaurant, Banquet hall, Ozone
Health club will be no smoking zones.
Apart from the
above, in any case, the decision taken by the executive committee
will be final and binding on one and all.
